BLISS Improvement System Concepts

Balanced scorecard

You will learn how to develop a simplified, effective balanced scorecard.

Lean manufacturing

From 5S standards to efficient material flow layouts, you will learn the key concepts of lean manufacturing and effective strategies for implementation.

ISO

The ISO 9001 standard provides the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) framework for a performance based management system. We review best practices implementation guidelines across all major Clauses of the ISO 9001 Standard.

Six Sigma

We teach you the statistical tools and monitoring techniques to properly understand and respond to statistically significant trends that impact performance and outputs of your manufacturing and administrative processes.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this training, participants will:

Understand how to harness the creative potential and innovation of all employees to drive improvement.

Understand how to apply the “best of” from popular quality tools Lean, ISO, and Six Sigma.

Understand best practice implementation methods, and the roles and responsibilities of implementation team members.

Prerequisites

No prior knowledge of Quality tools is necessary.

Course Materials

Participants will receive a hard copy three-ring course binder with class slides, and supplemental training materials and examples, along with an electronic copy of the Power Point training course slides.
